From September 8th through the 11th, our 4th to 7th grade students were able to take a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Here is what the fourth graders had to say:
On the way to Yellowstone we took pictures at the entrance, and saw a bunch of buffalo. The animals were not scared because they are used to seeing people, and they are protected, and they looked beautiful.Yellowstone Park has so many cool things to see. At Yellowstone we learned how to identify animals from their skulls and we learned about natural features in Yellowstone. We also learned that Yellowstone National Park was the world’s first national park. On the hikes we saw geysers and hot springs and learned how hot springs and geysers work. You can see lots of different animals. There are tons of waterfalls. What we enjoyed the most were the hikes, animals, and staying there with friends. We had a lot of fun and we want to thank everyone that helped us by giving food or money. It was a great trip!
